King Paul (in the Order of the Redeemer and the Order of Saints George and Constantine), Queen Frederica (wearing the Emerald Parure tiara as a necklace with the Order of the Redeemer), Crown Prince Constantine (in the Order of the Redeemer and the Order of Saints George and Constantine), Princess Irene (in the Order of Saints Olga and Sophia), and Prince Michael of Greece (in the Order of the Redeemer and the Order of Saints George and Constantine) attend the traditional New Year’s Service at the Metropolitan Cathedral of Athens, followed by a Reception in Athens on this day in 1964, the last of King Paul’s Reign, ahead of his death two months later.
