The Dutch Royal family attended the 2017 King’s Day Concert (Koningsdagconcert) at Theaters Tilburg in Tilburg on April 3rd. The concert is held in honour of King’s Day on April 27th. They are based in Florence, and will visit Vicenza, Naples, Amatrice and Rome as well as the Vatican. On Day 4, they visited a market, saw restoration of works of art, attended an event at the Palazzo Pitti. The Prince also visited a pastoral organisation, and gave awards at the British Institute. In the evening, the Prince and Duchess attended a dinner at the British Institute in Florence, where he was presented with the Renaissance Man of the Year award. Continue reading

On the afternoon of March 31st, the Prince arrived in Florence after a 3-day visit in Romania, where the Duchess joined him. On Day 1, the King and Queen were welcomed by the Danish Royal Family at the airport, attended the Official Welcome, met with officials, and went on a boat tour through Copenhagen Harbour.
