King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands hosted the annual Gala Dinner for the Diplomatic Corps at the Royal Palace of Amsterdam in Dam Square on the evening of April 9th. Princess Beatrix and Princess Margriet were also present. The Gala Dinner is held in order to maintain international relations and strengthen ties, this year’s theme was art and culture.
