Installation of the King of Malaysia 

Royalty and Heads of States from around the Malay Peninsula have gathered for the Installation of Sultan Ibrahim ibni Almarhum Sultan Iskandar of Johor as the XVII Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King of Malaysia) in a series of Ceremonies at the Istana Negara in Kuala Lumpur on July 20th, after his Accession in January.  Malaysia is the world’s only rotational monarchy, where the Hereditary Rulers of Nine of the Malay States are elected as the Yang di-Pertuan Agong (King) for a 5-year term by the Conference of Rulers. The new Yang di-Pertuan Agong and Raja Permaisuri Agong are expected to reign until 2029.

Wedding Banquet of Prince Mateen of Brunei

Prince ‘Abdul Mateen of Brunei, the tenth child and fourth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, with his second wife, Puan Mariam binti Abdul Aziz, married Anisha Rosnah binti Adam in series of spectacular ceremonies at the Istana Nurul Iman in Bandar Seri Begawan this last week. Following the Istiadat Berbedak Pengantin Diraja (the Royal Powdering Ceremony), the Majlis Istiadat Akad Nikah Diraja (the Islamic Wedding), and the Majlis Bersanding Pengantin Diraja (Wedding Ceremony), celebrations came to a conclusion with a spectacular Majlis Persantapan Diraja (Wedding Banquet).

Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla

Royalty and Heads of State from around the world have gathered to join the British Royal Family for the spectacular Coronation of King Charles III and Queen Camilla at Westminster Abbey on May 6th, which is the first British Coronation in 70 years. The Ceremony follows the King’s Accession Council in September as well as a Reception for Royalty and Heads of State at Buckingham Palace.
