Happy Birthday to Princess Bianca of Savoy-Aosta, Countess Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga, who turns 60 today! The daughter of late Prince Amedeo, Duke of Aosta and Princess Claude de Orléans married into Venetian House of Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga, today we are featuring the striking Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga Tiara!

Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga Tiara | Princess Claude’s Turquoise Suite | Savoy-Aosta Knot and Star Tiara

Composed of a striking Diamond Flower with a central Pearl amongst vines of pearls and diamonds, the exact origin of the Tiara is unknown, but it looks to date from the 19th century and has been an heirloom of the Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga Family for several decades.

When Princess Bianca of Savoy-Aosta and Count Giberto Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga, she received the Pearl and Diamond Tiara on her wedding day from her mother-in-law, Countess Graziella dei Conti Brandolini D’Adda.

The family Savoy-Aosta Tiara remained in a bank in Switzerland so Giberto’s mother, Graziella (Brandolini d’Adda) lent the bride a small family tiara. Bianca’s hairdresser was the well-known Alexandre de Paris.

Most recently, the Pearl and Diamond Tiara was worn by Princess Bianca’s daughter, Countess Vera Arrivabene-Valenti-Gonzaga, for her Wedding to Count Briano Martinoni Caleppi in Venice in 2021, and there is no doubt it will be worn by her sisters someday too!
