Happy Birthday to Princess Tatiana of Greece and Denmark, who turns 45 today! Princess Tatiana often wore the Antique Corsage Tiara but borrowed the striking Bulgari Modern Diamond Fringe Tiara for the Wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden a decade ago!

The striking Modern Diamond Fringe Tiara is composed of alternating rows of Diamond Fringes atop a base of diamonds and was created for the Bulgari High Jewellery Collection in the early 2010s, though some have reported that it is a vintage Tiara in the Bulgari collection.
The Tiara has several similarities with the Dutch Royal Family’s Diamond Comb created in the 1890s, which we will be also featuring shortly.
In 2015, the then Princess Tatiana of Greece borrowed the Bulgari Modern Diamond Fringe Tiara for the Wedding of Prince Carl Philip of Sweden and Sofia Hellqvist in the Chapel of the Royal Palace of Stockholm.
The following year, the Bulgari Modern Diamond Fringe Tiara was worn by Franziska Balzer for her Wedding to Prince Maximilian of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg at the Stadtkirche in Bad Laasphe in August 2016.
The Prince’s sister, Princess Marie Luise ‘Lilly’ of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg, is an Ambassador for Bulgari and we seem to recall an image of her also wearing the Modern Diamond Fringe Tiara, but cannot find that anymore.
