Diana, Princess of Wales paid an official visit to Brussels on this day in 1993, 30 years ago, which was her second Official Visit, after a visit to Nepal, following the announcement of her marriage to the Prince of Wales the previous year.

The highlight of the visit was the Princess of Wales’ luncheon with Queen Fabiola, Queen Paola of Belgium, and Princess Astrid at the Royal Château de Laeken.
