Crown Princess Yasmine Pahlavi of Iran

Happy Birthday to Crown Princess Yasmine Pahlavi of Iran, who turns 55 today! Born Yasmine Etemad-Amini in Tehran, her family settled in the San Francisco area by the late 1970s, where she attended Notre Dame High School before obtaining a BA degree in political science, and a juris doctor degree from Law School at George Washington University.

In 1986, at the age of 17, she married the exile Crown Prince Reza Pahlavi of Iran, the eldest son of Shah Mohammad Reza Pahlavi and Empress Farah of Iran. The couple have three daughters; Princess Noor, Princess Iman, and Princess Farah.

Crown Princess Yasmine is a member of the Maryland Bar Association, who worked as a staff attorney for Children’s Law Center in Washington, D.C., representing the rights of at-risk and underprivileged youth, and is also the co-founder and a director of the Foundation for the Children of Iran. The family reside in the United States and we occasionally see Crown Princess Yasmine Pahlavi at Foreign Royal Events. We wish HRH a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
