The Wedding of Prince Friedrich Christian of Saxony, son of King Frederick Augustus III of Saxony and Archduchess Louise of Austria, and Princess Elisabeth Helene of Thurn and Taxis, daughter of the 8th Prince of Thurn and Taxis and Archduchess Margarethe Klementine of Austria, at Schloss Regensburg on this day in 1923. The couple had five children, residing in Wachwitz Castle in Dresden-Wachwitz until 1945 and later in Munich after the Second World War, with the Margrave of Meissen passing away in 1968 while the Margravine passed away in 1976.
