King Willem-Alexander and Queen Máxima of the Netherlands (wearing the Ruby Flower Earrings) were joined by the Princess of Orange, Princess Beatrix, Princess Ariane, and Princess Laurentien for the annual Koningsdagconcert RTM Stage van Ahoy Rotterdam, which also marked the 10th Anniversary of the Accession of King Willem-Alexander.

The line-up of – Rotterdam – artists includes Davina Michelle, Winne and Gerard Cox. The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, led by conductor Adam Hickox, plays its own pieces as well as new, surprising arrangements together with the other artists. She and other well-known and unknown Rotterdammers show what the city stands for. A colourful, international port city, built by people from all over the world. A city that has itself started again and where many people start their lives (again).

The Koningsdagconcert will be broadcast on the evening of April 27 on NPO 2.
