The Prince and Princess of Wales were welcomed on the red carpet upon arrival for the British Academy of Film and Television Awards (BAFTA) at the Royal Festival Hall and met officials and stars before taking their seats in the auditorium to watch the Awards Ceremony, during which the Prince will present an award. The Prince has been President of the British Academy of Film and Television since 2010.
