They were welcomed by Amanda Berry OBE, Chief Executive of BAFTA, on the red carpet upon arrival at the Royal Albert Hall and met officials and stars before taking their seats in the auditorium to watch the Awards Ceremony, during which the Duke presented the Fellowship award. The Duke has been President of the Academy since 2010.
