The Prince and Princess of Wales have been in Boston this week to attend the second annual Earthshot Prize Awards Ceremony. The Earthshot Prize is inspired by President John F. Kennedy’s ‘Moonshot’, whose Presidential Library and Museum are based in Boston. This is the Prince and Princess’ third visit to the United States.

The Prince and Princess of Wales arrived in Boston on November 30th, where they joined the Mayor of Boston, Michelle Wu, for a special event to start the countdown to the ceremony, as the city’s landmarks were lit up green. They then attended the NBA game between the seventeen-time World Champion Boston Celtics and the Miami Heat at TD Garden in downtown Boston – which included a special moment to acknowledge the arrival of Earthshot in the city.
