Following the Coronation of the Shah of Iran on this day in 1967, the Shah and Empress Farah (wearing a Diamond Tiara) attended a spectacular Gala Performance at the Roudaki Opera House in Tehran and hosted a splendid Banquet at the Marble Palace of Teheran to celebrate the Shah’s Birthday. The Queen Tadj ol-Molouk (wearing her Diamond Tiara), Princess Shahnaz, and Princess Ashraf were also present alongside the Aga Khan IV and Begum Om Habibeh Aga Khan.
