The Wedding of Princess Nina Georgievna of Russia, daughter of Grand Duke George Mikhailovich of Russia and Princess Maria of Greece and Denmark, and Prince Paul Aleksandrovich Chavchavadze in an Orthodox Service London on this day in 1922, followed by a Reception at 18 Lennox Gardens, the residence of Grand Duchess Xenia Alexandrovna, just months after the lavish Wedding of her sister, Princess Xenia, in Paris. The couple had one child: the CIA Officer Prince David Chavchavadze, and moved to the United States in 1927, where the Prince worked as an author and the Princess was an artist, remaining married until his death in 1971, while Princess Nina passed away in 1974.
