Happy Birthday to Queen Suthida of Thailand, who turns 41 today! Of Thai-Chinese background, she was educated at Hatyaiwittayalai Somboonkulkanya Middle School and Assumption University and worked as flight attendant for Thai Airways before joining the Royal Thai Army. In 2014, she was appointed commander of then Crown Prince Vajiralongkorn’s household guard, and after his accession became the Commander of the Special Operations Unit of the King’s Guard and a General as well as the acting commander of Royal Thai Aide-de-Camp Department. In May 2019, she married King Maha Vajiralongkorn of Thailand at the Amphorn Sathan Residential Hall in Bangkok, ahead of his Coronation just days later, where she was crowned and given the title of สมเด็จพระนางเจ้าสุทิดา พัชรสุธาพิมลลักษณ พระบรมราชินี (Somdet Phra Nang Chao Suthida Bajrasudhabimalalakshana Phra Borommarajini). We wish HM a very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
