Crown Princess Mary of Denmark is on a Visit to the American cities of Houston and Austin in the State of Texas from March 10 to 13, to promote Danish business, especially at the “South by Southwest” festival in Austin. The Crown Princess lived in Texas for a couple of years in her childhood.

On March 10, Crown Princess Mary started her visit in Austin at a “Women in Leadership & How to Inspire the Next Generation of Women Leaders” breakfast event, followed by a tour of the “South by Southwest” festival, a Danish Gastronomy event, a meeting with Texas Governor Greg Abbott, two performances, and a Reception at the House of Scandinavia, where she gave a speech.

The following day, Crown Princess Mary was in Houston, where she met with Mayor Sylvester Turner at City Hall, followed by the Launch of cooperation between Denmark and Houston, and a Gala Dinner at the Houston Museum of Fine Arts.
