The Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the National Portrait Gallery, attended the 2019 Portrait Gala at the National Portrait Gallery in London on March 12th. She met members of the Gallery’s Youth Forum and viewed artwork produced by some of the National Portrait Gallery’s outreach programmes. The Duchess also met a selection of guests, many of whom had contributed to this important event. Afterwards, she sat down at the gala dinner. This year’s Portrait Gala will support Inspiring People: Transforming our National Portrait Gallery, a project for the complete renewal of the gallery that will see a significant refurbishment of the building. Princess Beatrice was also present, as well as the Earl of Snowdon, his sister, Lady Frances von Hofmannsthal, and Viscountess Weymouth.

  1. Is Kate way too thin? She’s lovely, but if this were Diana everyone would be going on about anorexia.
