Anzac Day Service

The Prince of Wales, Duke of Cambridge, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle attended Services commemorating Anzac Day in London and France on April 25th. Organised by the New Zealand and Australian High Commissions, they attended the Services at Wellington Arch, the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, and Westminster Abbey.

The Prince of Wales attended a Spirit of Place and Dawn Service at the Australian National Memorial in Villers-Bretonneux, where he laid a wreath and gave a speech, before attending a reception and touring the Sir John Monash Centre.

The Dawn Service at Wellington Arch, Hyde Park Corner began at the New Zealand memorial, during which Prince Harry laid a wreath. The service included readings, the Last Post, silence, reveille and national anthems. The couple, joined by the New Zealand and Australian High Commissioners, then walked to the Australian memorial, where he laid a wreath and they signed a book of remembrance.

Later, at the Wreath Laying and Parade Service at the Cenotaph, Prince Harry laid a wreath on behalf of the Queen, before joining his fiancee and the Duke of Cambridge at the Service of Commemoration and Thanksgiving at Westminster Abbey.

The Prince of Wales wore a pinstriped suit with the tie of the Royal Australian Armoured Corps, his Medals, and the Neck Badge of the Order of Australia. Meghan Markle wore a grey coat and black hat with a poppy on her lapel, changing into an Emilia Wickstead dress and jacket with a Phillip Treacy Hat for the Westminster Abbey Service. Prince Harry wore a navy suit with a dark tie, his Medals, and the Neck Badge of the Royal Victorian Order. The Duke of Cambridge wore a navy suit with the regimental tie of the Household Division and his Medals.
