The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall are on an 11-day visit to Singapore, Malaysia, and India from October 30th to November 9th, at the request of the British Government, to celebrate the United Kingdom’s partnership with these Commonwealth Nations on shared priorities in advance of the Commonwealth Summit in April 2018.
On November 8th, the Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall arrived in New Delhi at the start of the Royal Visit to India. First, the couple viewed a demonstration of the interactive Mix the Body digital display, later meeting meeting those involved in the performance. They attended a cultural event at the British Council, before viewing the ‘Elephant Parade’ in the gardens of the British High Commissioner’s Residence. In the evening, the Prince and Duchess met with Prince Minister Modi at at Hyderabad House.
