Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall in Austria
The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall started their two-day visit to Austria on April 5th, after completing a 6-day visit to Italy. On Day 1, they were welcomed at the airport, visited a cafe, and toured the Hofburg Palace. In the evening the Prince and Duchess attended a State dinner. Continue reading

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall were visiting Italy from March 31st to April 5th on advice from the British Government. They were based in Florence, and visited Vicenza, Naples, Amatrice, and Rome. On the final day, the Prince and Duchess met with the Italian President and the Prince visited the UN Food and Agriculture Organisation before departing for Austria. Continue reading
Service of Hope at Westminster Abbey
The Duke & Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry attended the National Service of Hope following the Terror Attacks in Westminster on April 5th at Westminster Abbey in London. The Duke gave a readings and all three royals met members of the congregation. Continue reading
Queen presents Guidon to Royal Lancers
Queen Elizabeth II, accompanied by the Duke of York, presented a Guidon to The Royal Lancers at Windsor Castle on April 5th. A Guidon is a heraldic banner carried by cavalry regiments, the equivalent of the Colours borne by regiments of line infantry. Continue reading
Spanish State Visit to Japan
King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain are on a State Visit to Japan from April 4th-7th with the aim of strengthening friendly relations between Japan and Spain. They are based in Tokyo and will also visit Shizuoka. On Day 1, the King and Queen were welcomed at the Imperial Palace, visited the National Museum of Science and Innovation, met Spanish citizens living in Japan, and attended a State Banquet held in their honour by Emperor Akihito. Duchess of Cambridge at Opening Night of 42nd Street
The Duchess of Cambridge attended the Opening Night of the musical 42nd Street at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane in London in aid of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospice (EACH) on April 4th. She met a selection of the guests before the show and joined the cast for a group photograph afterwards. Continue reading

The Dutch Royal family attended the 2017 King’s Day Concert (Koningsdagconcert) at Theaters Tilburg in Tilburg on April 3rd. The concert is held in honour of King’s Day on April 27th. King Willem-Alexander and Queen Maxima were accompanied by Princess Beatrix and Prince Constantijn. Continue reading

Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall in Italy- Day 4
The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall are visiting Italy from March 31st to April 5th on advice from the British Government. They are based in Florence, and will visit Vicenza, Naples, Amatrice and Rome as well as the Vatican. On Day 4, they visited a market, saw restoration of works of art, attended an event at the Palazzo Pitti. The Prince also visited a pastoral organisation, and gave awards at the British Institute. In the evening, the Prince and Duchess attended a dinner at the British Institute in Florence, where he was presented with the Renaissance Man of the Year award. Continue reading

The Prince of Wales and the Duchess of Cornwall started their 6-day Visit to Italy in Florence on March 31st. They will visit Vicenza, Naples, Amatrice and Rome as well as the Vatican. On the afternoon of March 31st, the Prince arrived in Florence after a 3-day visit in Romania, where the Duchess joined him. Confirmation of Prince Felix of Denmark
Prince Felix of Denmark, younger son of Prince Joachim of Denmark and his ex-wife, Alexandra, Countess of Frederiksborg, was confirmed at the Fredensborg Palace Church on April 1st. Queen Margrethe was also confirmed at the Palace Church on the same day in 1955. Continue reading
