Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Pieter van Vollenhoven (Aunt and Uncle of King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands), who got married on this day in 1967 in The Hague. Princess Margriet wore a Wedding gown by Dutch couturier Caroline Bergé-Farwick from Maison Linette with the Dutch Pearl Button Tiara. They couple have four sons and several grandchildren, and remain a source of support to the Dutch Royal Family, regularly attending royal events, such as the Belgian State Banquet in November. I wish Princess Margriet and Pieter van Vollenhoven a very Happy Anniversary and many more to come!
