Wedding of Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Pieter van Vollenhoven, 1967

Happy 50th Wedding Anniversary to Princess Margriet of the Netherlands and Pieter van Vollenhoven (Aunt and Uncle of King Willem-Alexander  of the Netherlands), who got married on this day in 1967 in The Hague. The bride is the daughter of Queen Juliana and Prince Bernhard of the Netherlands, and sister of (former Queen) Princess Beatrix Princess Margriet wore a Wedding gown by Dutch couturier Caroline Bergé-Farwick from Maison Linette with the Pearl Button Tiara. They couple have four sons and several grandchildren, and remain a source of support to the Dutch Royal Family, regularly attend royal events, such as the Belgian State Banquet in November. I wish Princess Margriet and Pieter van Vollenhoven a very Happy Anniversary and many more to come!
