Queen Margrethe of Denmark held a New Year’s levee for officers from the Military Personnel and Danish Emergency management agency at Christiansborg Palace in Copenhagen on January 4th. She was joined by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary. Queen Margrethe also held a New Year’s Banquet on the 1st, and a Reception on the 3rd.

Queen Margrethe of Denmark, joined by Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary, hosted a New year’s reception for officers from the Military, Personnel and Danish Emergency management agency at Christiansborg Palace. Queen Margrethe was pictured arriving in the Gold State Coach and the Crown Prince and Princess were pictured arriving in front of the guard.

Queen Margrethe wore the fur trimmed navy damask gown she always wears for the event. Crown Prince Frederik wore uniform with his medals. Crown Princess Mary wore a plum gown and cape. She wore the top part of the Ruby Parure earrings with a black pearl drop. All three wore the Sash and Star of the Order of the Elephant.
