Prince Harry in Guyana on Day 12 of his Royal Visit to the Caribbean. He attended the official welcome, met with the President, visited the Independence Monument and the Headquarters of the Guyana Defence Force, as well as the Commonwealth War Graves. In the evening, he attended a reception.
Prince Harry attended the Official Welcome at Eugene F. Correia airport in Georgetown, before meeting President David Granger. He visited the Independence Monument, where he laid a wreath, before visiting Camp Ayanganna, the Headquarters of the Guyana Defence Force. He toured the Base, and met with officer cadets, serving officers and veterans, who made him an honorary member of the Veterans Legion. Prince Harry also visited Georgetown’s Commonwealth War Graves, where he laid a Wreath, before attending a reception hosted by the British High Commissioner Greg Quinn.
