HRH The Duchess of Cornwall hosted a Garden Party at Buckingham palace today for Barnardo’s 150th Anniversary. Barnardo’s is a charity that has been supporting vulnerable children and young people since 1866. The Duchess of Gloucester and Princess Alexandra of Kent were also Present.

This is one of five special extra Garden Parties that will be held this summer for different charities and organisations. It is the second Garden Party held this week, the first was attended by HM The Queen. This garden party was designed to thank dedicated staff, volunteers and supporters for their hard work and commitment to Barnardo’s over the years. The Duchess has been patron of the organisation since 2007.

The Duchess of Cornwall wore a pale pink suit with a large floral hat. She also wore her Everyday Pearl Earrings and her Pink Topaz Clasp Choker. The Duchess of Gloucester wore a large Pearl necklace with her light blue coat and dark pink hat. She also wore red stone earrings and diamond clip brooches. Princess Alexandra wore Pearl earrings and Pearl Choker with her lilac outfit.
