Diamond Spray Brooch

A late 19th-century diamond spray brooch comes from the collection of the Count and Countess of Villagonzalo, who auctioned a Diamond Rivere and a Tiara last year. It was worn as part of a hair ornament by a previous Countess at her wedding in 1946.

A pair of diamond stud earrings, and a early 20th century Aquamarine, Ruby, Diamond and Pearl Pendant Necklace come from the collection of Grand Duchess Alexandra of Mecklenburg-Schwerin, born Princess Alexandra of Hanover, who was sister-in-law of Queen Alexandrine of Denmark and Crown Princess Cecilie of Germany, and the consort of the last ruling Duke of Mecklenburg-Schwerin. Her jewels were also auctioned at last month.

Diamond Tiara

Estimate: 10,000 – 15,000 GBP

An early 20th century diamond Tiara of tapering bandeau design, the central line of millegrain-set old-cut diamond accents within a pavé-set rose-cut diamond undulating border and similarly-set outer frame, circa 1910, which was last auctioned in 2016.

Harcourt Tiara

Estimate: 30,000 – 40,000 GBP

Made by Boucheron around 1890, the original version of the Harcourt Tiara featured elongated flowering motifs, set with large diamonds. It was worn by Viscountess Harcourt for the Queen’s Coronation in 1953, and first auctioned by Sotheby’s in 2003 for £84,000. In 2015, the Tiara was worn by Gilly Yarrow, the wife of the then Lord Mayor of London for a Guildhall Banquet, and is now being auctioned again.

A rare 18th century old diamond Tiara, featuring old and rose-cut diamonds, closed-set in silver and gold, in a velvet covered tiara frame, circa 1800.
