Pascua Militar 2017

King Felipe and Queen Letizia attended the traditional Pascua Militar ceremony at the Royal Palace of Madrid on January 6th. They viewed the New Year’s Military Parade and attended a reception in the Throne hall of the Palace to mark the Spanish national holiday; Epiphany.

King Felipe and Queen Letizia viewed the New Year’s Military Parade at the Plaza de la Armería of the Royal Palace of Madrid. After the National Anthem and a 21 gun salute, King Felipe reviewed the Royal Guard. Afterwards, the King and Queen attended a Reception in the Saleta de Gasparini, and King Felipe presented honours in the Throne Hall of the Palace.

King Felipe wore Uniform with the Sash of the Royal and Military Order of Saint Hermenegild and the stars of his other honours. . Queen Letizia wore a floor length teal Felipe Varela gown with amethyst and tourmaline earrings.
