Duke of Cambridge in Vietnam

The Duke of Cambridge is on a two-day visit to Vietnam to attend the 3rd International Wildlife Trade Conference. He met with politicians, visited a school, a local cafe and met emerging leaders of the arts, music and business at a reception at the British Embassy.

The Duke met with Vietnamese Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc and other political leaders in Hanoi, before visiting Lan Ong St in Hanoi’s Old Town to learn about traditional medicine and its links to the illegal wildlife trade. He also visited a local school and played football with the children. In the evening, the Duke of Cambridge attended a reception at the British Embassy in Hanoi for arts, civil society and business leaders.
