However, they have managed to keep their Sunburst Tiara and their Ruby Wreath Tiara. King Felipe and Queen Letizia of Spain are hosting President Mauricio Macri and First Lady Juliana Awada of Argentina on a two-day State Visit from February 22nd to the 23rd. Canadian State Visit to Sweden- Day 2
On Day 2 of the Canadian State Visit to Sweden, King Carl Gustav and Queen Silvia of Sweden attended a trade seminar, visited the Karolinska Institute, had lunch at the Stockholm City Hall, and attended a return reception at the Vasa Museum with Governor General David Johnston and the Viceregal Consort of Canada. The Governor General, who is the Canadian Head of State as the Federal Viceregal representative of the Monarch of Canada, currently Queen Elizabeth II, is on a four-day State Visit to Sweden. Canadian State Visit to Sweden
King Carl XVI Gustaf and Queen Silvia of Sweden are hosting the Governor General and Viceregal Consort of Canada, David Johnston and Mrs. Sharon Johnston, on a four-day State Visit to Sweden from February 19th to 23rd. On Day 1, the Governor General and Viceregal Consort were officially welcomed by King Carl Gustaf and Queen Silvia. They had an audience with other members of the royal family before a State Banquet in the evening at the Royal Palace of Stockholm. The Governor General is the Canadian Head of State and serves as the Federal Viceregal representative of the Queen of Canada, Queen Elizabeth II. Continue reading
