The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh hosted a Gala Dinner to mark the 70th Birthday of the Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace on the evening on November 14th, following the release of Portraits and a 70th Birthday Concert at Buckingham Palace as well as a Garden Party.
The Queen and members of the Royal Family attended the annual Remembrance Day Service at the Cenotaph in London on Remembrance Sunday, November 11th, marking the centenary of the Armistice and the end of the First World War. For the second year, the Queen observed the proceedings from a Balcony, while the Duke of Edinburgh was absent for the first time in over 70 years. Continue reading
