The Duke of Edinburgh passed away peacefully this morning at Windsor Castle just before his 100th Birthday, and as the oldest and longest serving Consort to the longest-reigning Monarch in British History, who was also the longest-lived descendant of Queen Victoria and King Christian IX of Denmark, condolences have been coming in from Reigning and Former Royals around the world, who the Duke met and hosted on numerous occasions!

Members of the British Royal family celebrated the Queen’s Official Birthday by attending the annual Trooping the Colour ceremony in London on June 8th. Queen’s Christmas Lunch at Buckingham Palace
The Queen and Duke of Edinburgh hosted their annual Christmas Lunch for members of the extended British Royal Family at Buckingham Palace on December 19th. This lunch is held for those family members who aren’t invited to spend Christmas with the Queen at Sandringham in Norfolk, due to lack of space.
