Happy Birthday to Lady Marina Windsor, who turns 30 today! The elder daughter of the Earl and Countess of St Andrews, she is a granddaughter of the Duke and Duchess of Kent, and was named after her great-grandmother Princess Marina, Duchess of Kent. Her siblings are Lord Downpatrick and Lady Amelia Windsor. Christened into the Church of England, Lady Marina’s godparents are Lady Ralph Kerr, Katherine Ruth Panter, William Hanbury-Tenison, and Sasha Poklewski-Koziell, and in 2008, she was 25th in the line of succession when she was confirmed into the Roman Catholic Church, forfeiting her place.

After attending St Mary’s School in Ascot, Lady Marina modelled for Hardy Amies in Tatler, and expressed interest in working in foreign diplomacy and not a modelling career like her sister. Lady Marina currently resides with her grandparents, the Duke and Duchess of Kent, at Wren Cottage in Kensington Palace, and is frequently seen at Royal and Society Events, as well as Wimbledon, where the Duke served as President of The All England Lawn Tennis and Croquet Club for over 50 years. She was also the Maid of Honour at the Wedding of her cousin, Flora Ogilvy last year. We wish Lady Marina a Very Happy Birthday and Many Happy Returns!
