The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge joined Tom Cruise for the Royal Film Premiere of Top Gun: Maverick at the Odeon Cinema in Leicester Square on the evening of May 19th. The Premiere was hosted by Paramount Pictures and The Film and TV Charity and was be the 72nd Royal Film Performance put on by the charity in its almost 100-year history. The charity supports hundreds of thousands of people working behind the scenes in Britain’s film and television industry and was called upon, especially amid the COVID-19 pandemic when many technicians and skilled craftspeople lost their livelihoods.

  1. Well, this event must have been a lot of fun! Both the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge looked fabulous! I really like her sleek look even if she’s not wearing royal jewels. She’s wearing an outfit from a firm that almost went under during the pandemic, so I hope it will get a much needed boost with the Duchesses’ support. I like her new earrings too. And did I spy an embroidery on Prince William’s shoes? I looked elsewhere for it and it seems like it’s an embroidered airplane! How fun is that! They’re doing their jobs and having fun while doing so. Bravo!
