The Princess of Wales (wearing Queen Mary’s Lover’s Knot Tiara and her Collingwood Pearl Earrings with a Catherine Walker Gown) attended a Performance by the Kirov Ballet at the Royal Opera House in Covent Garden on this day in 1992, in aid of the Maryinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg. The Gala Performance was one of the last times that a Tiara was worn to a Gala Performance in Covent Garden as the practice has unfortunately been discontinued in recent years.
I think it would be more than helpful for her boys & their families to let her test in peace.
