Prince George joined the Duke, Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union, and Duchess of Cambridge, Patron of the Rugby Football Union, as they attended the England v Wales Six Nations Match at Twickenham Stadium on February 26th. The Duke and Duchess were met on arrival by Jeff Blackett, President of the Rugby Football Union, and Gerald Davies, President of the Welsh Rugby Union. Prior to kick off, they spoke to representatives of the RFU’s community game, including volunteers and RFU council members. The match was the first that the Duchess of Cambridge attended in her new role as Patron of the Rugby Football Union, taking over from the Duke of Sussex. The Duke of Cambridge has been Patron of the Welsh Rugby Union since 2016.
