King George VI, Queen Elizabeth, and Queen Mary led the Royal Guests and Relatives at the Wedding of the Earl of Harewood and concert pianist, Marion Stein, at St Mark’s Church in Mayfair on this day in 1949.

The 7th Earl of Harewood, son of the 6th Earl of Harewood and Princess Mary, Princess Royal, married concert pianist Marion Stein at St Mark’s Church in Mayfair, followed by a Reception at St James’ Palace. Lord and Lady Harewood had three sons before their scandalous divorce in 1967, and both subsequently remarried.
