Royal Guests included the Prince of Wales, King Alfonso XIII of Spain, Grand Duchess Hilda of Baden, and the Duchess of Aosta (aunt of the groom), along with members of the Spanish, German, French, and Romanian Royal Families. The King and Queen had no children, but had a ‘calm and serene’ marriage, lasting until his death in 1932, with Queen Augusta Victoria remarrying to Count Robert Douglas in 1939.
