Queen Margrethe II hosted a Dinner mark the 75th Birthday of Princess Benedikte of Denmark, Princess of Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg (wearing her Diamond Fan Earrings, Queen Alexandrine’s Sautoir Necklace and her Diamond Flower Brooch) in the Riddersalen of Christian VII’s Palace, Amalienborg in Copenhagen on the evening of April 29th.

Queen Anne Marie (in her Ruby Parure Earrings and Brooch), Crown Prince Frederik and Crown Princess Mary (in her Ruby Parure Earrings and Bracelet), Princess Alexandra zu Sayn-Wittgenstein-Berleburg and Princess Nathalie zu Sayn-Wittgenstein- Berleburg were among the Royal and Noble guests in attendance.
Holy smokes! You sure predicted the use of the Diamond Fan Earrings! Amazing! I hadn’t especially noticed them before, but they are lovely and no doubt full of sentimental value for the princess. She also wore her section of her mother’s necklace, the one from Queen Alexandrine. I can imagine that since the deaths of both Prince Richard and Prince Henrik the sisters are now closer than ever. And I was wondering if you knew who was squiring Princess Benedike’s daughters? That is not Princess Natalie’s husband and Princess Alexandra is divorced, so who could it be?
That’s Count Michael Ahlefeldt-Laurvig-Bille, Princess Alexandra’s boyfriend, who is one of the top noblemen of Denmark!
Benedikte is wearing the best dress of the evening! I like Mary’s one too, but I’m a bit bored by the one-shoulder..
