Funeral of Queen Victoria of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Ireland, Empress of India at St George’s Chapel, Windsor Castle on this day in 1901, followed by the burial in the Frogmore Mausoleum in Windsor Great Park. The Queen had died at Osbourne House on the Isle of Wright, and her body was conveyed by boat and train to Waterloo Station in London for a Procession by gun carriage through Hyde Park to Paddington, before going to Windsor.
