A ruby, sapphire, enamel and diamond bangle, from the late 19th century, inscribed ‘To Marie-Louise from F.W.L.B., March 22nd 1930’, which was formerly in the collection of the artist Marie-Louise Roosevelt Pierrepont, Countess Manvers, received as a gift from her father, Sir Frederick William Louis Butterfield, of Cliffe Castle in Keighly, West Yorkshire, and thence by descent. An Emerald and Diamond Parure from the Collection of the Countess was sold last month.

A jewelled gold and hardstone etui, English, circa 1765, comprising a pair of scissors, a spoon, a chased folding knife, a pen, tweezers and a scraper, on a chased suspension loop, comes from a Noble Family.

A Diamond Tiara, from Félix Fallon, circa the 1870s, is among the highlights of the sale and can be broken up into five brooches, hairpins, and a pendant, from the five graduated wild rose motifs.
