— Belgian Royal Palace (@MonarchieBe) November 23, 2018King Philippe and Queen Mathilde of Belgium visited Berlin to mark the Centenary of the end of the First World War on November 23rd. They were received by the German President and First Lady at the Bellevue Castle, before they visited the Berlin City Hall of Berlin, and laid a wreath Neue Wache monument, before visiting the Deutsches Historisches Museum and the Käthe Kollwitz Museum. In the evening, the King and Queen attended performance of Beethoven’s Missa Solemnis at the Berliner Philharmonie.
Queen Mathilde’s coat dress for her morning engagements is absolutely divine! It is a silhouette that favors her prodigiously! Her use of burgundy accessories was an excellent choice. King Philippe’s pink tie was the perfect complement to his wife’s attire.
I was hoping for a gown in the evening, but I have to agree the day outfit was lovely!
