Prince and Princess of Wales in Australia, 1983

Australia is the Commonwealth Realm in focus for the Royal Family in 2018. The Prince of Wales and Duchess of Cornwall were there earlier this month to open and attend the Commonwealth Games, as was the Earl of Wessex, and Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will be in Australia later this year for the Invictus Games. To mark the visits, we are taking a look at the Prince and Princess of Wales’ 1983 Tour of Australia, which finished on this day in 1983.
