The Queen (glittering in her Brazilian Aquamarine Tiara and Parure), Duke of Edinburgh, and Prince of Wales meet the stars, including Olivia Hussey and Leonard Whiting, at the Royal Film Performance of ‘Romeo and Juliet’ at the Odeon in Leicester Square on this day in 1968.
These photos provide a good look at the awkward aquamarine tiara before it became even more awkward! But the Queen looks happy and Prince Charles looks very young.
Oh, to have premieres where tiaras appear, however awkward! 🙂
I actually like that version of the tiara much better than the current version!
