Commonwealth Fashion Exchange Reception at Buckingham Palace

The Duchess of Cambridge and Countess of Wessex hosted the Commonwealth Fashion Exchange Reception at Buckingham Palace in London on February 19th. Princess Beatrice was also present. This is one of a series of events in the run up to the Commonwealth Heads of Government Meeting in London in April.

The Duchess of Cambridge, Countess of Wessex, and Princess Beatrice saw designs from established and emerging fashion talent from across the Commonwealth’s 53 countries showcase the power and potential of artisan fashion skills to deliver new networks, trade links and highlight sustainability. Designers such as Stella McCartney, Burberry, and Karen Walker  teamed up with artisan producers in developing countries to create a one of a kind eco-friendly outfits. For the first time, the Commonwealth has come together to showcase a wealth of design and artisan fashion talent across its 53 countries. Guests included Anna Wintour, Edward Enninful, Stella McCartney and Naomi Campbel.

The Duchess wore an Erdem dress with her Anita Dongre Earrings. The Countess wore a Burberry dress with Lucia Odescalchi earrings. Princess Beatrice also wore an Erdem dress.
