Royal Gifts at Buckingham Palace

Buckingham Palace is staging Royal Gifts, a special exhibition for the Summer Opening of the Palace in 2017. It features a wide-ranging display of official gifts presented to the Queen during the past 65 years. Also on display at the Palace is the desk of the late Diana, Princess of Wales, which includes items selected by the Duke of Cambridge and Prince Harry, as a tribute on the 20th Anniversary of her death. The exhibition runs from July 22nd to October 1st.

Sapphire Jubilee Snowflake Brooch

One of the most recognizable symbols of the Queen are the glittering gem-encrusting brooches sparkling on her lapel. On a visit to Canada House in Trafalgar Square in July 2017 to celebrate Canada’s 150th anniversary of Confederation, the Queen was presented with a lovely surprise- the new Sapphire Jubilee Snowflake Brooch.
