The Swedish Royal Family celebrated King Carl XVI Gustaf’s 71st Birthday in the Outer Courtyard of the Royal Palace of Stockholm on April 30th.

King Carl XVI Gustaf and Prince Carl Phillip viewed the various marching bands and processions from a stand in the courtyard of the Royal Palace of Stockholm, while other members of the family viewed from a balcony. Afterwards, the King received flowers from children, and then waved to the crowds from the balcony with his family. On the balcony, Queen Silvia was joined by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Princess Sofia, Princess Estelle, and Prince Oscar.
