Members of the Japanese Imperial Family hosted the annual Spring Garden Party at at Akasaka Imperial Gardens in Tokyo on April 20th.

Emperor Akihito and Empress Michiko of Japan were joined by Crown Prince Naruhito, Crown Princess Masako, Prince Akishino, Princess Mako, Princess Kiko of Akishino, Prince Hitachi (on wheelchair), Princess Nobuko of Mikasa, Princess Hisako, Princess Tsuguko, and Princess Ayako of Takamado for the annual Spring Garden Party at the Akasaka Imperial Gardens. The ladies wore Kimonos while the men wore Morning Dress.
