Crown Princess Victoria in Japan- Day 2

Crown Princess Victoria of Sweden is on a 3-Day visit to Japan from April 18th to the 21st as part of her for work as an ambassador for UN global sustainability in sustainability, marine and fisheries issues. She will attend the International Sustainable Oceans symposium on April 19th. Click HERE to read about Day 1.

On Day 2 of her visit, Crown Princess Victoria visited an Aeon supermarket, whose company is one of Japan’s key players in terms of sustainable fishing and they work actively to integrate sustainability considerations into its purchasing policy for including seafood.

In the afternoon, the Crown Princess took part in a seminar on the UN global sustainability organized by the UN University in Tokyo. The theme of the seminar was to promote the UN’s global sustainability with special focus on sustainable seas. Click HERE to read her speech.

In the evening, Crown Princess Victoria had dinner with Princess Takamado of Japan at the Tofuya Ukai Restaurant in Tokyo.

For the day events, Crown Princess Victoria wore a navy and coral polka dot dress previously worn by her mother, Queen Silvia, in 1980. In the evening, she wore a satin dress with a light shawl.
