Crown Princess Mary of Denmark received the Berlingske Foundation Award of Honour on January 10th during a ceremony held at Berlingske Hus in Copenhagen, Denmark.
Crown Princess Mary of Denmark was awarded the Berlingske Foundation Award of Honour at the Berlingske Hus in Copenhagen for her work as patron of the vulnerable groups in society with organizations such as Children’s Day, Children, Youth & Sorrow, Mothers, Christmas Seal Foundation, National Association for Mental Health, the National Organization of Women’s Crisis Centre and the Mental Health Foundation. The prize is awarded to a Dane who has had the special significance in politics, business, culture or society. The award consists of a sculpture and 100,000 kr. She also spoke to the press afterwards.
