Scandinavian and Greek Royalty at the Shah of Iran’s lavish 1971 Persepolis celebrations, which celebrated 2500 years of the Persian Empire. All of the Scandinavian and Greek royals in this picture are closely related to one another. From L-R; Queen Ingrid of Denmark (wearing the Pearl Poiré Tiara), King Frederick IX of Denmark, King Olav V of Norway (cousin of King Frederick of Denmark), King Constantine II of Greece, Queen Anne Marie of Greece (wearing her Emerald Parure Tiara)(son-in-law and daughter of the King and Queen of Denmark), and Crown Prince (now King) Carl Gustav of Sweden (cousin of Queen Anne Marie and nephew of Queen Ingrid).
